I have a Webb amp that I am planning to put up for sale. The serial number is 1105 -- does anyone have any idea what year that would make it?
Thanks in advance.

I bought one new in 1978 and it was a #739.
So yours might be early 80's? Numbered or plain knobs? |

My new in 78' is 749.....can you post a couple pics front and back as it might help date it. I'm guessing early/mid 80's.

The late 70's amps had plain knobs and painted black baffle board.
Later ones had numbered knobs with white tolex on the baffle.

Thanks, Jay! Mine looks exactly like the lower photo -- it's obviously a later one. Greatly appreciate the help. |

I think sometime In the early 80's they started putting on the small metal ID plate with serial number on the inner side of cabinet vs stamped into the upper right corner on rear of amp panel. They also have the rear finned/vented in the upper right portion of the amp back. |

Never dated a webb, but I did date a black widow for a while. Lucky to have gotten out alive! |
