Www.steelradio.com Is back on the air.

The sound quality is much improved on the station.

Here is information from Debbie on the station:

Thank you so much for listening and your kind words. We are under new ownership now and attempting to update the software and equipment. I'm so happy you like it. SteelRadio.com will be commercial now but the other owner, Matt McClain, and I decided to limit the number of spots per hour so we can continue to supply the best Steel Guitar music and lots of it. Please spread the word to your friends and help us reconnect with the thousands of listeners to SteelRadio.com. Hopefully sometime this week we'll be able to get the live shows back on too. Thanks again for listening and your comments.

I listen to Steel Radio almost every day. They have a great selection of songs with steel on them and the sound quality is very good, much better than it used to be. The station is free, please listen to support them.

This is great that you will be able to continue with this great radio station started by Michael Scott.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help and also how to advertise on your station.

Thanks,
Bill Ferguson

What a great station. I believe the song selection is even better than before. I also listen daily. Fantastic and I agree the sound quality seems much better.

this is great! the sound quality is vastly improved for sure.

One thing I can't seem to find is a link on the site for the actual stream URL? So that I can put it into my iTunes to listen to. I looked hard for it but couldn't seem to find. Don't really want to open the website every time to listen for many obvious reasons.

Thanks!

It's nice to have it back and the sound is a big improvement. I wish they would turn off the delay/reverb they've run everything through. It's not bad on the old dry stuff but it makes everything else sound too wet, and it's short enough to interfere with the timing of the song's tempo on most tunes. It clutters things up.
Ends up sounding like a bad old-time radio station broadcasting from south of the border when they used to add echo to everything.

Keep it pure!
