Hi everyone

I just want to let you know that January 25th, Wednesday, from 7-9:30, my jazz quartet will be playing in Portland OR at Jo Bar, on NW 23rd.

Fretless bass, trombone, pedal steel, and drums - if nothing else, it's interesting to see if all those slidey things can play in tune!

Seriously though, the band are all top local jazz players, and we have a great time. The food is good and the scene is relaxed - I'd love to see you!

Would you consider taking the band on the road and playing in L.A.?

Hi Chris, Is there any chance you could record your performance and post a few tunes on Youtube? (Either audio or video)

Mike - at some point, for sure! The band really makes me sound better than I really am!

Mark - possibly, depends on whether I remember to bring the recorder, and then whether I'm not too ashamed to post...

Jim - funny, that's what the manager says after a couple tunes
