Philip, I bet you are after the new Session 115.!!!! I am thinking hard about your 1000. I have been using a NV 112 for about 10 years now. Is their much difference in tone quality than a 112. Don't know much about the 1000.I have owned all the early Peaveys. Went with the 112 because of weight. I remember hauling around a Session 500 for about 5 years. Had a great sound but it came with a price, Your Back!!! |

With the black widow it weighs 60 , 50 with the telonics...
The 1000 is up for sale because I bought a used walker stereo steel rig off the fourm.
I had a couple 112's , but the "sound" is just too small for my ears , I think I heard the preamp stage in the 112 and the 1000 are the same. |

Kevin, I bought a 112 last summer. I liked the sound so well, I just recently bought a 1000 to get a bigger sound. For me, playing thru both at the same time really sounds good. The 1000 and 112 together results in a much fuller sound and gets as loud as I need it.
I just started playing last Spring and I've been fortunate to try many of the early Peavey steel amps this past year. The 1000 is one of my favorites. If you like the 112, I don't think you would be disappointed, but everyone hears things differently.
Just my 2 cents |

I played through two NV 400's years ago. I was running both amps with digital delay a stereo chorus driving both amps. Was one bad to the bone sound!!! |
