Am playing this winter in SW Fl -- am wondering how many push/pull players there in Florida?

The reason for asking is Larry wants to come sit behind one for a minute just to see if all of the hype resonates with him.

Why only a minute; either you hear it or you do not, not right or wrong, just personal taste.

I play an old single 12 push pull in the Fort Myers area (southwest - Gulf coast). I play at the Buckingham Blues Bar most every Saturday 3-6, as well as other local gigs.

Where in SW Florida are you?
If you come to our Florida Steel Guitar Club jam in January (second Wednesday of each month), Nick Reed should be there. He has several Emmons PP guitars. Nick just retired and is going to be a "Snowbird" starting in January.

Another club member, Jack Dougherty, has a D-10 PP, or had the guitar as I know he's been trying to sell it. He usually plays his Zum at the club jams.

Larry; I have had 2 PP guitars & I can tell you...nothing sounds like a PP, but the action is somewhat stiff & clunky & not "precise" like a LeGrande, Mullen, or Zum.
I always compare a PP to an old Harley...a clunky, mechanical nightmare, but nothing sounds better!

Rich, gonna have to disagree with you. If they feel that way, they aren't set up properly. I've got two push pulls and I'll bet you can't feel the difference between them and a Legrand. Especially the one with Legrand pedals. I friend played a whole set on it one night and thought it was my Legrand. He plays a Zum.
