I'm wondering, how many of you steel players are doubling on (acoustic) guitar, especially hawaiian slack-key guitar? I recently practiced on a version of Isa Lei: https://youtu.be/stez668Z-V4

Sorry, no steel ... Wink

Your beautiful playing and that wonderful old Gibson are a nice match.
Steel content: I'm going to use your video as a backing track to learn this song on lap steel. Smile

Hi Peter beautiful job, loved it. Lovely old Gibson you have there!
Don't mean to hijack your thread, but just wondered if you've ever heard the late great Australian pioneer steeler, Les Adams version.
This from an old post about the man.
