Changing speakers in Valveking 112

Hi all. I have decided to pursue changing out the speaker in my early version VK112. The speaker that is in it is the original 16 ohm. I have searched the Forum and have seen several posts on what an acceptable ohm replacement speaker would be and the answers that people have reported to have gotten back from Peavey range from "8 ohm will be fine" to "only 16 ohm... period". Does anyone have the definitive answer to this? Hopefully Mike Brown will see this and reply. Thanks in advance.
