KM-700 Kentucky Mandolin Deluxe Artist F-Model – Traditional Sunburst, two years old. This mandolin has been played gently as part of a collection that I must thin down. Excellent condition, no dings, scratches or cracks. Comes with new Guardian case. This mandolin lists for $1395 with a street price of $895-$995. Current listed used prices on ebay=850, reverb=795.
Solid, handcarved and accurately graduated spruce top. Solid, handcarved highly flamed maple back and sides.
One-piece maple neck with dovetail neck/body joint at 15th fret. Rosewood fingerboard and extension over the body with ornate M.O.P. peghead inlay. Recent pro set up. New strings, Gotoh tuners and bone nut.
Great chop with power that will cut through in any situation. Sound transmission is assured by a split-lip dovetail neck/body joint.
