Everybody complains about nothing but nobody does anything about it.

You Can't Write a Poem about Nothing

this is a poem
about Nothing

but in being about Nothing
it is about Something

this is a person
walking Nowhere

by walking Nowhere
their endpoint will be Somewhere

this is a child
with No One

once this child outgrows No One
they will find Someone

everyone in this world
gets caught up in the Now
in the Nothing

but what people need to see
is that if you look a little deeper
a little in the future
there will always be Something

I think Dylan needs to pass over his Nobel Prize for Literature. The prize committee obviously hadn't seen this.

I must say that's an excellent poem, Bo, and that's not nothing.

There's an incredible topic drift in this thread.

That's impossible. If one drifts off-topic then it has nothing to do with the topic, which means it's on-topic. Winking

Bill: "What are you doing Steve?"
Steve: "Nothing"
Bill: "how do you do that?"
Steve: " You log on to the STEEL GUITAR FORUM go to the Humor section Post on the "Nothing" topic."
Bill: "Why would you go to all that trouble?"
Steve: " 'cause I ain't got nothing to do so when I got nothing to do I do it!"
Bill: "You Steve I am begining to get an insight to why you took up playing the steel."
Steve: "What do you mean?"
Bill: "Aw nothing."

There is nothing about this thread that interests me.
This makes it very relevant and now I must post it to relay that info to everyone.
I do believe I just confused myself....... Rolling Eyes

We shall be celebrating this post's 10th anniversary in July.
We must think of something special for the event.

....or maybe NOTHING.

The singularity that was to become the "Big Bang" caused by quantum fluctuations was and is surrounded by NOTHING. So nothing is to everything as dark is to light. For everything to exist then nothing HAS to exist. It does. It is NOTHING.

I quite agree. As far and as long as the universe expands, it will encounter nothing.

So, I's just checking in to see if everything is as we left it. Still looks like nothing else.
