I have been using a 1970 Fender Bantam for lap/pedal steel for the past year and a half. I am purchasing a speaker from Tone Tubby, and wondering what exactly I should be looking for in a speaker, being that it's a 30 watt bass amp. It is an 8ohm Eminemce Driver single 15 in at currently. They seem to think a bass speaker would be my best bet. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Do you still have the Trapezoidal Speaker? If so you'll need to replace the baffle in order to install something new. At 30 watts, it's not going to be much of a bass amp, most of the reviews I've read indicate that it works quite well as guitar amp with a pair of 10's or 12's installed. _________________ Mostly junque with a few knick-knacks that I really can't do without! |

I understand the styrofoam trapezoidal speaker was a popular type for televisions back in the day.
