Just went over to http://paul-franklin.com/ and went beyond the home page.
Every other page is a massive advertisement for pharmaceuticals.
I don't know him personally, so maybe someone could hit him up? Unless he actually is selling pharmaceuticals, then fair enough..... _________________ GFI Ultra S10PU

Must be spyware or something involving your browser. I didn't see a single rogue ad on Paul's site. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Right. Weird. I'm on a Mac though and they're perfect aren't they?
I'll have a system check. _________________ GFI Ultra S10PU

I had a quick look and nothing there. Here's a screen shot of of one of the pages. It's super neat and all within borders etc. I can't work it out.
It's also doing it in other browsers, so It's not a browser.
Would one of you mind emptying your emptying your browser cache and seeing if the site is still good? My curiosity has the better of me now, and if it's in my system it's deep and a problem..Thanks. _________________ GFI Ultra S10PU

I believed you.
I know nothing so I can't speculate. You might get the best help by posting this in the computer section. |

Delete your browser cookies and temporary internet files. That may clear it out.
I tried it on an iPad and the site is OK on there, so its not "All Apple". _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat, SIT Strings

I'm sure the problem is on your end. Possibly something like a virus, possibly something changed your DNS server, that can do delightfully interesting things to your surfing. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Lane is correct, it is a simple bug on your computer that redirects your query. Do as Jack and Lane said, make sure your anti-virus is up to date then run a thorough scan...Stormy |

Just like everyone said , you have malware on your PC. You may have to run some software to do a malware scan.
https://www.malwarebytes.com/antimalware/mac/
You must reset your browser or browsers also.
I don't know what version you have but here is an example

I'm back at work now, I'll orientate the computer to the North as requested and run some anti malware to get things right tonight.
Thanks for the tips!

If you have, or are willing to acquire, a bit of savvy, you can change your DNS servers.
First, look at the DNS servers your machine is set to use, Google those numbers. If they're malicious, there might be a Google entry for it. Change to known good ones. I've been hijacked by DNS switchers before. It's no fun.
Here's a list of good ones: http://public-dns.info/nameserver/au.html _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Got wifes strife free brand new work MacBook Air and got her to look at the website, and she got the same thing!!
So I'm stumped. Could somehow be in the home wifi setup?
Going to practice instead. _________________ GFI Ultra S10PU

Yes it's easy to redirect a router, unplug it from power, find the reset switch, often a micro dot set in a small hole usually on the control side of router. Find a toothpick or somethin to lightly depress the switch u should feel a lite shoort click. Hold it in a coupla minutes, set everything back up and reboot from the modem>router>device u may have to address the router thru a web browser by typing the IP for your particular router(found on the spec sticker on all devices, will have ip addy, login creds etc.) to allow u in the router setup. Netgear is 192.168.1.1, all makers have a simiar IP to address the router,if asked for login use Admin/PW=password works for almost all of em that haven't been assigned user PW or look on the sticker on the bottom/back of router.Once inside start readig the usually accompanying setup guide. Pay attention to the Internet setup page and esp the mac address, as that is easy to change. sorry for the book hope I helped..Stormy |

Hi Again. This is the web page..(one of them)
http://paul-franklin.com/?page_id=23
I haven't had a chance to look at the wifi router yet. It's suddenly very late at night.
I'll check back tomorrow.
Thanks for your efforts, I need to lie down now!
Strangely, this is the only website that has issues. Neither of our computers has any issues whatsoever anywhere else. My wifes work Macbook is brand new and work only.
Also, just looked in the modem and the DNS 1 & 2 are correct for my IP. Plus the IP address is local and correct. I I just can't work it out. _________________ GFI Ultra S10PU

That page shows up fine on my system. Looking at source, I see that it's a Wordpress-based site with the Aggregate theme (a popular choice). Nothing in the source jumps out at me, but I'm no security expert. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

FWIW, I see the same problem on my work PC, Win 7 on a corporate network. I'll try it at home later..
EDITED: Didn't see the prob at home, but as of today (10-17) it's still showing the meds stuff here at work. Odd... _________________ Lost Pines Studio

Looks fine on my Win 7 box. I have had the same thing happen from time to time and it is always a data miner that changes the mac lan address in my router (Netgear 1600 AC), from default address to a "use this mac address" box where it has inserted a false mac address and it eventually like 4 or 5 attempts to go to any site it always reroutes to a fake dope page like you get.Pain in the glutes but relatively harmless. Resetting the router always resolves the prob. |
