Just lucky to be in Texas, I suppose. The list of good to great TX artists performing traditional/classic country music is actually growing. We travel to hear and dance to:
Jake Hooker (who often has his Dad, Tommy open for him)
Jody Nix
Billy Mata
Justin Trevino
Jeff Woolsey
Bobby Flores
Rocky King
Jason Roberts (GREAT band he formed after leaving AATW)
Amber Digby
Landon Dodd (what a voice!)

Every one of these bands has a superb steel player, and often twin fiddles.
