Here is the link to a recording of Sunday’s show. You will notice about 60 sec of silence just after halfway through the show. That is because "yours truly" switched the wrong mic on…apologies…
The show opens with a tune on regular guitar that all steel guitarists will be familiar with...Steel guitarists featured (about 100 mins in) are Gabby Pahinui and Herb Remington, amongst others.

This link will remain active until next Sunday, so please download to your hard drive before that, or just listen…
And don’t forget to tune in next Sunday same place, same time, to continue your musical journey...
Happy listening!

Tonight's show will feature Buddy Emmons, Garney Nyss, Herbert Hanawahine, and our own Chuck Lettes amongst others. There will be a thread showcasing steel with woodwind/ brass.
Last week's show featured Buddy Emmons and Jerry Byrd amongst others.
Listen in if you can or, if you are in an inconvenient time-zone, wait for the link I post a day or so later. The show is a pot -pourri of instrumentals (many kinds of instruments) and vocals with good instrumental backing, anything from blues, contemporary, island, country, standards... and has got a wide audience.
Happy listening!

Hi Kay,
As always, thanks for playing my music on your show. I enjoyed your selections, especially the songs of the Shadows and Dire Straits. Hope to get to visit with you at the HSGA show in Ft. Collins. By the way, my last name has been pronounced many ways, but it is pronounced like Lettuce. Hope you're doing well.

Good to hear from you, Chuck, great tracks. It is a well kept secret that steel and sax timbres contrast very well. Hope to make it to Fort Collins this year.
Thanks for the clarification on pronunciation. No association with 'salad' I presume!
As Jerry used to say, keep picking!

The show has been going for a year now.
Here is the link to last Sunday's show (07 Aug). Listen or download to your hard drive before Sunday 14 Aug . There was a section about halfway into the show in which I featured 4 Hawaiian tunes back to back, two instrumentals and two vocals. Steel guitarists featured were: Bobby Ingano, Jeff Au Hoy, and Ken Emerson amongst others.
