I've never had the opportunity to see a Show-Room new ShoBud guitar but if I had I would think it would look a lot like thus one. D-10 with 8 and 4, standard Emmons, with a very good original case. This guitar plays very smooth with the ShoBud tone. $1950.00 plus shipping and insurance

I questioned the lacquer checking, fretboard damage and bar dings from the pics I was sent....and asked that if this was not "showroom new" as the ad claimed that the price could be negotiated if I saw other issues with the guitar in person (especially mechanical ones). Despite being in Memphis with cash in hand, that request was refused and me questioning what I saw in the pictures was apparently a no-no.

Yet NOW the price lowered $200? Color me confused.

Joe, you made up your mind from the pictures, you saw things that are not there, and tried to get me to lower the price based on what you thought you saw. Now, let' get the record straight since you are "confused". I told you that I would meet you in Memphis and you could see the guitar in person, and if you wanted it there would be no discussion over the price after you said perhaps we should call it off. That's about 130 mile drive for me and you told me that you come to Memphis to vist. I was ready go make the trip.

Now the guitar, there is one spot in the E9th fret board about 3/15" long where the white marking is worn off. That's it. There is NO checking of the finish, There is some hairline cracks in the finish in the front apron that you have to get in into the light just right to see them, Yes, there are some minute bar dings but you surs a heck can't see them in the picture.

That said, if you're confused now, let me confuse you more;I wouldn't sell the guitar to you now for the original price, period.

I am amazed that one of our flippers hasn't bought this to resale for a thousand dollar profit.
