Today would have been Charlie Christian's 100th birthday. He almost single handedly created and defined modern electric guitar playing. 75 years later, his playing still sounds fresh and amazing. Go Charlie!

Definitely one of men deep favorites. I'm surprised more C6 players don't mine his ideas… perfect for dominant chordal stuff like 9/10 of modern country.

Great player. It is astounding how far he took jazz guitar (and jazz) at such a young age.
