From a recent show. That's my buddy Jerry Evans on steel guitar. Jerry is also a super lead player.

Thank you Tony. You know you're one of my favorites too. I moved back to Sneedville, so we're closer. Maybe we can do a gig sometime.

Great sounding COUNTRY music Rick! Hard to find these days. I have a farm in the Blackwater Virginia - Kyles Ford Tennessee area not too far from Sneedville. Maybe I can catch one of your gigs.

I don't do as many gigs as I used to. Mostly fill ins. I play fiddle in some bluegrass bands. A little country fiddle, when a band decides they want to pay a fiddler. I play steel in a few country bands, and do a bass gig every now and then. Working on a "do it all yourself CD" as time permits. It will be hardcore traditional 60's/70's country and maybe a little bluegrass thrown in. I'm really interested in doing charity gigs for people in need. If there's anything along those lines going on in the Tri-Cities area, I'll be glad to help out anyway I can. Just let me know. Music has been a wonderful hobby for me, even though I was fortunate to get to play with some pro bands through the years and work the Opry, etc... At this point, I enjoy giving something back when I can.

Most of my picking these days is playing bass or guitar in Church. Occasionally I will take my steel and play some gospel songs with tracks. I am thankful for the talent that God has given me and would enjoy using it to help people in need.

Let me know if you guys do this. If I can I'd like to help too. We might have a jam in Sept. I'll let you know.

Rick, I was at The River Place in Kyles Ford last night and saw you come in with your fiddle. I was at the register paying and had to leave but not before I heard "Working Man's Blues" while I was standing in the parking lot. Ya'll sounded good! Smile
