Topic: Getting a Split "C" note with A pedal and Vertical |

I was recently told that My split tuning screws (Mullen G2) aren't enough to Get a Split C note with A pedal and Vertical, as I have the franklin pedal with B's to A.
I was told I need an extra rod. If this is false info, How do I go about tuning The 5th String B the franklin pedal A, the A pedal C#, and the split C note? Thanks

Correct. If you lower to A, the screw providing a stop at A# is a problem.
Get a rod and whatever attaches it to the bellcranks.
This rod will go from your vertical knee bellcrank to the raise scissor of the 5th string. Tune the C with the nut on the knee's rod to the lowering scissor, and the A# with the knee's rod in the raise scissor. Got it?

Lane is right on. The Mullen guys set this up for me. Ran a rod to the top raise hole from the shaft on the vertical lever. You will tune the pedals as normal. Tune A, engage lever and tune the "split" with the nylon on the lower rod. Then tune just the "final" lower with the short raise As you would the split screw. Works great on my G2!
