Heres my baby! Had a Franklin Pedal added too! That ghost pedal in the picture is foreshadowing of what was to come

I have never owned one. I have played a couple of them, Junior Knight's Mullen, owned by Patrick Huey, and Gary Hogue's owned by Jim Lindsey. Both were the EASIEST playing steels I have ever played. and talk about TONE.

This is the favorite of my 2 Mullen's. It's an RP with a G2 top side.

This is my other RP. Another great one for sure, older but exactly like new.

This is my other G2. This was one of the rare times I gigged with it. This was taken playing with a mixture of Miranda Lamberts Band and the Ely Young Band. Dan Adams also sang and I wound up playing for him too. I was the only steel player at this so it was by default!

This guitar is actually listed for sale on a couple of sites as I just don't need four steels.

My Mullen from 1989 to about 1996.
Was one of his first I am told and had the Rack & Barrel pulling system.
Like a Sho Bud but much better built and much smoother operation too.
Was 5 Pedals & 4 Knee Levers. Extended E9th.
His quality was always so very good in every detail.
Wish I'd never sold it. Was a dumb thing to do.

Here's my 94. I refinished it last year as it had been extremely "well-used" before I got it.

My second Mullen, a wood-bodied D - 10 8 & 8; Interesting to me is that the color combination is the same as my high school's colors.
