from ebay:
Double neck ten pedal steel guitar custom made by the late Wade Collier of Carterville Illinois. Six knee pedals, eight foot pedals, figured maple finished in transparent red. The pictures show it set up with only a few of the foot pedal wires connected, the loose ones are in the case. I do not know the extent of the build that is original or modified by Mr. Collier, but the necks are Emmons, and the pedal bar looks like Emmons. I cannot find a serial number and there is no nameplate on it. One of the pickups looks original but the other is clearly modified, Mr. Collier did make some of his own pickups. I plugged it in and both pickups work, as well as the pickup selector switch. Could use some detailing, but appears complete. Selling as-is, no returns. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. Should be very interesting for the steel guitar aficionado. |

That's why I was wondering. It's a project at best and a disaster at worst. The bidding got too high for me. If you had to part it out it could take years and you might not have any meat on the bone to make your money back. _________________ D.S. Rigsby |
