He was one of the "greatest generation"; was stationed in the Pacific aboard a supply ship during WWII. They don't make'em like him anymore.

Dan,
So sorry for the loss of your Dad. I lost mine in '98 and think about him every day. He also was on of the "greatest generation" serving as a gunnery guard on the Panama Canal.

Dan,
If you will allow me to, I would like to share this uploaded video to honor this great fallen warrior. We don't always know why, we are summoned when we are, we just know that when "He" calls us, we must answer. My warmest of condolences to you and your loved ones.

Dan, I lost my Dad in 1982, and not one day goes by that I don't think of him. Keep yours in you heart and you mind often.

Hi Dan,

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Of all of the things I've done in my life burying my Dad was the hardest.

Bishop Hall, how in the world did you know that is my dad's favorite song in the whole world? I'm sitting here listening to you and bawling my eyes out; you, sir, must be a wonderful person and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dan,
My friend and brother,
There is an old saying:"He works in mysterious ways". I just obeyed what I felt within, as I always do. You, are in my prayers, during these challenging times, and difficult days ahead. If I can be of service, you know how to find me. Keep the faith, "He" knows!

It hurts, I know. I remember when my Dad passed on. May he rest in peace, and may you find joy in your memories of him.
