Hey Dennis, Probably was Jack Smith. Great player,took Sonny's place in Bill's band. Loved your brother Bill! Hired me for Eddie Rabbitt's band, gave me my first big break!

HI PAT YES HE WAS A HECK OF A BROTHER.
PAT I SEE YOU ON ALOT TV SHOWS YOU SOUND AND
PLAY GREAT.DON'T KNOW JACK SMITH FAST CHICHEN PICKING
KIND OF HUSKY AND BLACK HAIR.BILL LEFT HOME IN 1973
FOR NASHVILLE GOT A JOB WITH TANYA TUCKER COUPLE OF
DAYS LATER.HE HOOKED UP WITH DOLLY,JERRY REED AND THEN EDDIE.ALOT OF PEOPLE KNEW BILL IN NASHVILLE
THEY ALL MISS HIM.WE ALL MISS HIM UP HERE.HE WOULD
ALWAYS CALL ME AND GIVE ME THE SCOOP OF ALL THE
STEELPLAYERS WHO THEY WERE PLAYING WITH.OK THANKS
