We had 20 plus players, 392 strings and smiles for miles. Thanks James for filming. Thanks to all who came to "pick one".

man, that's a lot of steels. i've got to say i didn't know what the song was til we hit the long haired guy with the dark emmons, then it all made sense.
everyone was good and what i noticed was even though lots of different brands were represented, they all had good tone. player expertise may be the only difference and so no one should feel like they need
a different steel.
although that little blue steel was exceptionally clear and strong.

I must add - having to play between Pete and Robin is very very humbling indeed. Sigh

Hey, Larry. I'm up in Seattle, and I'd like to be informed about your events. I have family in Eugene, and I played full time down there 30 years ago. Doug jone was a friend beck then.

Jack the best way is to go right here in the events section. I try to post the event 2 months ahead, the next one will be in Nov, keep an eye out.

This is hard to pull off and I think it is great to have that many players at a jam. Nice job by everyone.

Richard picks and names are posted in the events section under the Portland steel jam, thanks to Kathy Johnson and Bob Muller.

We always have a good time, and as anyone can see we have a lot of talent in the NW part of this great country. We could have sat 30 more players if they would come out, maybe next time.

Gary came 460 miles just to pick with us, thanks big guy.
