Just met him for the first time last year. Great player and a whacky sense of humor. RIP John.

Oh no! I'm really sorry to hear this. I enjoyed John Murphy's playing. He was a lot of fun to jam with, and hang out with between sets. A real honky tonk player.

Me too. Great guy and had that classic ShoBud country sound.
