Yesterday, Harry Teachman and myself took a trip to see Tommy Cass and had a chance to see and play several Emmons D-10 guitars that have been restored. Now I am not a D-10 guy but can find my way around the guitar with a little effort. But hearing and watching Harry take these guitars through the paces was a treat.

Tommy is a top notch Emmons mechanic and his attention to detail is something to see. Also, hearing these guitars played through a Peavey Session 500 is a golden tone from above.

What a great day😀

i'd rather have an old d10 pp of his. there wouldn't be anything necessarily special about a single neck legrande.

After hearing him play two notes, I had to ask Tommy his background, and the great playing made total sense Smile

He's the best in all aspects of the instrument!

Whenever I go there I have to wear blinders.

Tommy did a full restoration of an old PP S-10 for me a couple of years ago. Absolutely top-tier work and a first-class guy too. And yes, a fine picker indeed.
