Twin Butte is halfway between Pincher Creek and Waterton Park. On the above-mentioned date I am doing a show with Charlie Ewing - a very fine Western-oriented singer/songwriter. Show is at the Twin Butte General Store (which is not a store, I'm told, but rather a very fun Mexican restaurant). I'll be playing pedal steel, dobro and some other things, and doing a bit of the singing as well. Music starts at 8 PM. Admission is ten bucks.

God's country. Wish I could make it.

Hope for a Chinook, then don't let it blow you away.

Hmmm, beautiful country, great music, and Mexican food? Can't beat that. Have fun.

Looks like a fun place. A bit too far away for me to make it, though. Sad

Yeah a bit of a hike for you Don! But Southern Alberta is a great place to visit. Beautiful mountain and foothills scenery, great stream fishing on the eastern slopes, cowboys and rodeos and such, and a bargain at today's exchange rates! Twin Butte is in serious cowboy country.

If it's any consolation, this is not the ideal time of year to visit. Though it's certainly ski season at Fernie, just a little further west.
