I'm one of the fortunate ones in Louisville, Ky. Been with the same opry style show for three years and there's no end in sight. I get other calls, but, got it made at the Shepherdsville country music show. Had Lynn Owsley playing twin steels with me two weeks ago. It's a great show. |

I agree completely with what herb said,,,,in my small part of Wisconsin it was the dwi laws that changed in early 80,s....then a shift in new country music putting a squeeze on steel guitar,,,along with a aging crowd,,,i talked to a sax player who had a polka band,,they broke up because crowd aged and passed on,,thats a scarey scenario,,, _________________ a few guitars,(Rickenbacker /610/ 40,s lap steel, 2007 emmons legrande, student Gs emmons,,,nashville 112
....,peavey classic 30 ,Nashville 400,,a few effect pedals,,everything except talent,(everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die to get there,) "steven jobs"? |
