Just lettin' everyone know that Steve and I have just spent the last couple of months cuttin' our new CD. It's called SIDE BY SIDE. We are planning to both play at the Baxter Springs Steel Show in October, and we'll have it for sale there. We will also have tracks for it, and later in October...we'll have the steel tab for it as well. It will also be available on my website...WesTexasSteelSchool.com, as well as most sites like Amazon, CD Baby, etc.
The songs are:
1.Billies Bounce
2. Midnight In Old Amarillo
3. Empty Glass
4. All My Loving
5. The Preacher
6. The Girlfriend of the Whirling Dervish
7. The Waltz You Saved for Me
8. Drivin' Nails in My Coffin (w/ guest singer - Kacey Toliver
9. Stompin' At The Savoy
10. Scrapple from the Apple
Steve and I are very excited about our CD and hope you'll enjoy it half as much as we have, in putting it together. We are told the shipment will be in September the 19th of the CD's.
Hope to See all of y'all in Baxter Springs, Kansas the 1st weekend in October for one of the best steel shows in the country. I guarantee you'll enjoy it.

We would like to give you all an update on the release of "Side by Side" AND the tracks for the album. We will have the CD's of the full album in our possession by September 23rd and the CD's of the tracks are due to us by September 29th. That means we will have these items available at the Baxter Springs show! Larry and Steve are working on the tab and will it available in the near future. Larry and Steve will have these items available through their websites; www.westexassteelschool.webs.com and www.stevesrecordingstudio.com or by calling either of them ( you can find the numbers on the websites). All of us are able to take credit/debit cards and you will be able to pay through PayPal. Of course, we will also accept checks and good old-fashioned cash! This project has turned out to be a great one, so get one and tell your friends. See you next in Baxter Springs!

Hey Tony,
I've changed the domain for my website. It is now westexassteelschool.webs.com
I will have the cd up as they are available. Donna put the latest info we have in the post just above. I know you're gonna enjoy our new cd. It's got a good mix of different types of music where Steve chose 5 songs and I chose 5, and we both play on all of them. We're working on tabs for all of the songs too, and they'll be available in about a month. Thanks for the interest.

We will definitely have them next week at Baxter Springs Kansas.

I just received my copy of the "Side by Side" CD this morning and have been listening to it all day. Steve and Larry did an "AWESOME" job on this one. If you don't have it yet, I would get it ordered before they run out. Get the tracks too!

Thanks Troy
We did put some effort in it. My favorite is the whirling dervish. It was an old guitar song I used to play. It Seemed To Fit the steel really well. I like em all, but that one feels good. We will have tabs on them in a month or so.
