Sonny,
I could open but not reply on Outlook.com today so am using The Forum here. Yes, I do have your old Excel S 12 Keyless as of the end of last year. Do you remember I mentioned this was the first of two that were my "Sonny Jenkins steels."?

Larry turned it into a straight C6th. Can't wait to see and play it.

Thanks for the link comparing the Kline to the ZB; I will have a look.
Keep up the good work on the Kline build. stevet

Joe changed a pull on a knee lever for me. Took him 5 minutes!

I used to make changes to my Kline. It wasn't much harder, if at all, than my Carter. Now, the ZB that has a similar undercarriage system, now that's a slightly different story.

That's Joe's brother Jim, with the New River Band. My friend Don Dixon asked Joe.

Making changes to a D10 or E9th only would be much easier
than single wide S12U.
A D10 would have approx half as many rods and yokes per neck, and twice as much space to work with.

I have a new "Kline" logo for this guitar when complete,,,but I'm thinking about putting the Kline stylized "K" in polished alum on the front. Here is a pic on a practice piece of maple that I use to test procedures on before I try one (left end of this board is lacquer and right end is poly)
hummm,,can't get pic to upload????,,,later,,here you go,,

The polished alum K looks good. But, I think you should put a great big S on the front for sonny. Very Happy
