Has anyone tried one of these cases? Decent quality? Will a Clinesmith 8-string Joaquin fit, I wonder? The Joaquin is 2 inches longer than the Morrell shown, but is narrower than the lower bout of the Morrell, so maybe the keyhead would fit in to that slot... I've got a dulcimer hardshell case, but it's pretty oversized, especially in depth.

Still lookin' for that perfect hard protection...

I don't like that case, particularly since the steel is on an angle and there is no neck support. I much prefer having the neck supported on either side as shown here:

There's one on eBay and it lists the interior dimensions as follows:

Length: 36”
Width: 10”
Depth: 3.5”
Accessory Pocket: 6” x 5”
