Selling my '56 Gibson L7 -C ,17" carved spruce top masterpiece, the L5's baby cousin... it is a true closet classic, being in 9.99999 condition, with the original Gibson case. The guitar was rarely played, and is in immaculate condition with the exception of some light scratches. It has a newer repro guard, the original was replaced due to deterioration...Beautiful 60 year old patina, great action everything functions as it should, truss rod etc... NEVER REPAIRED. or altered in any way, a real showpiece. $5500.00,plus shipping, open to legit offers.. Pay Pal add 3%... e mail lucybobkat@yahoo.com.. or call 570-829-7908...if intrested, this is a beautiful guitar and rarely discovered in this condition.NOTE the truss rod cover is not original, but I found the original one in my parts box and is now on the guitar..Thanks

Cool

I had a Gibson L7c in the 70's. I had a Johnnie Smith pickup installed at the factory and it was a fantastic guitar. I truly regret having sold it for $500.00. Today it would be worth $6000.00.

Hi Bob, I just got a phone call from Herb Hooven, we had a good half hour conversation, luckily we still each have a dozen up above. He mentioned he'd not heard from you in a while. He was hoping you hadn't lost any fingers. Take care, Jay
Not a computer person, this was the only way I know of to reach you.

Bob,
You don't need to do so many TTT's, just delete the previous one and add another.

Well, if it makes you feel a little bit better, $500 in 1970 would be worth $3,276 today, so you didn't lose quite as much as you thought... still bad, though, I know...
