After years of having a persistent email problem with the Forum (internal emails not getting to me), I've managed to fix the problem tonight.

To celebrate the occasion, I'm going to give away a free download of my jazz album ("Pedal Steel Jazz") to the first ten Forumites who email me through the Forum requesting a copy - just click the email link at bottom of this post; not the PM link, and don't write to me outside the Forum for this offer - I want to enjoy getting your email through the Forum itself! Smile

Glad to have that little annoyance fixed at last!

If you want to know a little more about the CD, you can read about it and hear some clips at www.cdbaby.com/jimcohen2

Cheers!

Too cool Jim... I sent a request.. hope it goes through!

To you on the forum who haven't heard Jim's Cd's, or heard him live... he is simply superb... a real player's player.

All the best with the new CD Jim!

I already bought the sucker, and will go on record as saying it's some of the best money I've spent. Great tunes, expressive, sensitive playing by the title artist and some very big names. I certainly don't need it free, but somebody must!

Thank you for the interest, folks. All 10 have been awarded now. I wish I could give one to everybody who requested one, but I can't.

So maybe the next best thing is that I just reduced the price of downloading the album to just $5.00 for today only. So if any of you still wanted a copy and don't mind sharing five bucks with the artist, you'll find it at www.cdbaby.com/jimcohen2

(IMHO, it's worth it just to hear the contributions of Lucky Oceans, Doug Jernigan, Buck Reid, Randy Beavers, Chuck Campbell, and the late Maurice Anderson, as well as one of the best darn jazz guitarists in the world, Jimmy Bruno.)

Thanks again, everyone.

What an offer.
You can bet I'd be signing up if I didn't have one. I've been enjoying it for a while and it never gets old. Always something new to discover...
Great job on this one Jimbo, as with all your others.

No, I don't believe you did. Now, to be clear, are you referring to the song itself, or my rendition? (or perhaps just the lifestyle itself)? Wink

Hi Kerry,

Yes, I did get your email. You probably had the box checked at the bottom of the email that sends you a copy of it too. I think that box is checked by default and you have to uncheck it if you don't want it sent to you.

Anyway, I did reply to your email. Did you get my reply?

Jim
