Any body care to suggest a date for my Stringmaster Triple? Trying to avoid doing any surgery on it

I believe the pushbutton neck selectors should place it in 1955. |

As Jon said, the push button selecter places it 1955/early 1956 but that's as close as you'll get without using a screwdriver.
Next time you change strings, if you unscrew the tuner pans, you should see a pencil date showing month and year. This is often the same on all 3 necks but can be different. You may also find the name or initials of the guy who worked on it there as well. Yours is a medium scale (24.5"), by the way, if you haven't had the tape measure on it.
What are the extra holes (or are they screws) on the middle and furthest control plates? |

Thanks gentlemen. Jeff those are holes in the plates you are seeing. Will try looking under the tuning pans next time I do string change. Really appreciate the responses.
