Well, I have to let one of my of my guitars go unfortunately. I got this guitar from Mark Van Allen as a U12 and had Tommy Dodd work his magic to convert it into an extended e9 tuning. It plays wonderfully. Guitar is in wonderful condition and just had a full tune up by Tommy and is al set up. Cleaned and fresh. E's are on the left. Has some neat changes that Tommy added but all in all pretty standard copedant. Hate to let this one go but can't keep everything. Tone from this Carter is amazing. Case is in perfect condition and the guitar is quite lite. Even in the case the guitar extremely lite. Let me know if you have any questions. $1,750 including shipping and insurance. Thanks.

I've put extra money into this guitar and it is all setup and fully loaded. I am dropping the price to $1750 because I need to sell it quick. The guitar really is a wonderful one and anybody who grabs will be very very happy. That's for sure. Thanks for looking guys |

Can be converted easily to a U12. Shocked this hasn't sold yet. It truly is a wonderful guitar. Mark Van Allen and tommy Dodd can vouch for that and they are both magnificent steel players and teachers. This guitar is priced very cheap for being fully loaded and in the shape it's in. |

I've seen and heard this guitar in Skype lessons with Scott, seems to be top notch. Nice extended E9 setup, but easily reverted to its universal tuning status if you so desire. Great deal on a clean Carter! _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

It basically setup, just need someone that knows what they're doing to hook back up pedals 5 and 6 then change a few rods around. Not a hard job for someone that works on steels. All of the pedals are still on the rack and ready to go. |

To add to what Scott said about converting this Carter back to its original universal state:
I suspect that pedals 5 and 6 are still setup for uni. Pedal 4 was changed to a partial Franklin pedal, lowering just strings 5 and 6 whole tones, though not string 10.
Pedal 7 has changes normally found on a common G lever for E9: strings 1 and 2 up a whole and half respectively, and string 6 down a whole tone. The RKR is a little unusual: string 1 up a half to G, and string 6 down a half to G. First 3 pedals are stock Emmons setup, with pedal 2 raising string 3, 6 and 11 a half tone.
Carters are pretty easy to modify. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

Twin to my own Carter Ext 12! Same nice ebony wood grain finish.
Mine has 5 and 6, Es on right knee. Wonderful guitar: I have never had a single problem with it.
Somebody snap it up . . .
