Hello Everyone,

The San Antonio Steel Guitar Association will have its next jam session on Sunday August 2nd, 2015 at the William Randolph American Legion Post #593 at 326 W. Legion Dr from 2 PM until 5 PM. Steel players are asked to be there in time to be setup and tuned up for the 2 O'clock start. The mission of the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association is to provide an opportunity for current and future steel players to meet, play, listen, and exchange ideas. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free and the Legion's canteen will be open serving your favorite beverage along with burgers and snacks.

Well folks back on track to the first Sunday of the month, 2nd of August. A lot going on the next three months. Will keep everyone informed at the jam. Really looking forward to seeing who show's up and does some pick en with us. You never know and that's what so great. Not to for get the wonderful folks who enjoy a laid back afternoon with good music and food and your favorite beverage. Mark, I know you are trying to keep your cow bells from singing oops sinking, hope with just two finger crossed you can make it buddy. Best of luck:) See everyone Sunday at 2:00p.m.

Having fun at the San Antonio Steel Guitar Assoc jam and meeting. 7 steel players today with 1 Justice, 1 Carter, 2 Emmons, 1Zumsteel, 1 Fesseden and 1 Rittenberry.

Well folks sorry to put this in late but as you can see just another 16-hours in the coal mine, just kidding on the coal mine, this was a very good jam, Jim Clecker our bass was doing a outstanding job up and down the bass and keeping our band up to tempo, and really, thank you Jim. So many great songs by all the steel players. Also John Logan from Bandara Tx first time with us who also did a great job, John come back to visit. Until till Sept. 6th I guess this one as you can say, is saucered and blowed!!!
