Overseas, please provide address for quoting

Roller hard shell case, Emmons setup. This is my personal steel. New ones cost much much more and this model is not being produced anymore. This was called a '63 Madison. Closest you can come to a new guitar with the Sho Bud sound made by Shot Jackson's sons. It has white wooden necks lacquered in white and white fretboards. 24" scale as original Sho-Bud's.

Cashiers check or money order. Add 3% for paypal or 1.6% for credit cards.

Pictures were taken Dec 2014, guitar never been used or out of the case since then.
This guitar was made up very similar in looks to one of the Jackson's made for Bobbe Seymour. I picked it up at the Dallas show about 3-4 years ago.

Comes with original hardshell case from Jackson. Would prefer not to ship to preserve the original state of the guitar. Contact me and we will discuss shipping.

Guitar is in like new condition 9.5 out of 10, everything works as it should. Original other white pickup is available and will go with the guitar also.

Name plate will be removed, no marks

That is one sweet guitar, I love everything about it.

Question;

What are the pedal/knee lever tuners at the headstock end for? Why do they need to be there as opposed to the changer end?

I've been out of the PSG loop for close to 15 yrs., and I've never seen that before.

it spreads the load on the changer bar with some lowers on the end as he uses a slightly less diameter changer shaft which Gainesville the higher amount of sweetness in the sound characteristics..

What he told me when I asked.

there's still only one changer and shaft, right?
...but the lowers are 'adjusted' from the keyhead end?
do they have a diagram somewhere?

I thought that the 705 gave a fuller sound on the E9.

I have the original white E9 pickup and that comes with the guitar.

Please call with questions.

Post  Posted 27 Jun 2015 6:52 am     Tuning on both ends of the guitar
Reply with quote

David Jackson developed that (Shot Jackson's son).
The enhanced tone that results on this guitar is the smaller in diamete than everyone else's changer.

That brings the necessity to tune from both ends to spread the pull on the changer evenly. Lowers on the left, tunes accurately and stays there.

David is a genious.

There used to be an animation showing how the machine head tuning keys actually swiveled. If it's still there, I'm not finding it. The actual lower, not just its adjustment, happens at the keyhead (if I understand correctly).
