This steel was owned by Larry Jenkins and completely rebuilt by Bryan Adams. D-10 8 floor pedals and 7 knee levers. Serial #1479D. Hasn't been played in over three years. $5,000 includes insurance and shipping to lower 48 states. Also included rolled and pleated leather cover and Hilton pedal. Sounds Great!!!

Wow, that's a twin to mine. Mine is black and also a fatback. Best guitar I've ever owned. Good luck on the sale. Someone will get a nice rig.

Thanks Henry. Larry had several steels and this one was always his favorite too!

Henry, trust me, you need this steel guitar. I guarantee once you own it, you will stand one inch taller. You will also look 7 years younger. It will also make your breath smell sweeter. You will notice more hair growing on your head. So--go ahead and get this guitar before it slips away.

Man, I love those old Emmons guitars!

I have been playing an 1995 Emmons Legrand for a couple of years.

The other day my dad wanted me to tune his steel.

So naturally I set down and began to tune it.

I could not believe how good that guitar sounded!

It's like a great sounding Telecaster. It even sounds better acoustically than my Legrande!

For me, 69 camaros, great Telecasters and push pull Emmons.

it just don't get any better than that.

Of course it's a cut tail. And I have a similar '71 that sounds and plays like a dream. The fatback era of Emmons is tops for me. Great, great guitar.

I had 1464D so not far from this one.

One of those things I wish I had kept.

Someone will surely step up and buy this.

I was expecting a great old Emmons. I am so blown away by this guitar. I received it yesterday and it was way better than I had anticipated. Bryan Adams refurbished and all I had to do was tune the keyhead and it sounds so perfect I am overjoyed. I am sure the 1970 is just as perfect. Buy this one and you will not be disappointed. I am sure Larry Jenkins took absolutely perfect care of his steels. Not a scratch or blemish. If I didn't know it was a 1968 I would have thought it just came from the manufacturer.

Damir, how do you keep all the guitars you have organized? I would get confused after awhile... That black push pull you sold yesterday seemed to come and go in a hurry!

Mike, I took something in partial trade, guitar is actually on hold right now, buyer is trying to get his finances lined up....these are great guitars, and they've been seriously undervalued for whatever reason...

A friend of mine is interested but money is very tight, so he wanted me to ask is this is your rock-bottom. If so, we certainly understand and will make the decision one way or another. Beautiful guitar.
