Anyone know who the steel player is here? Hal Rugg? (Doesn't fit my visual image of him.) Also seems "hotter" than Rugg played on her records--but maybe he saved that side for live shows. Whoever it is, he's killer! I LOVE this!

Dan,
The steel player is Big Jim Murphy, brother of Wally Murphy.
A young Jack Mollette is the lead player. Big Jim, an excellent player passed on several years ago.
Jack went on to be a Texas Troubadour for three years and presently plays at Country Tonight Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Jim playing "Big Murph" for the outro was a pretty good giveaway.
