A couple years ago I attended this show and had a blast. Unfortunately scheduling will not let me attend again this year. If you guys get an opportunity to play or go and listen you will be blessed. Country Jack is a great guy to be around and you will have a great time. Maybe next year I can make it again.

My son Zane and I attended two years ago. We loved this Gospel Steel and Singin! The people were very friendly and the music was just Great!

We would loved to have attended this year but we are booked already that weekend. Keep us in mind for June 2016.

Hey Country Jack........I really do appreciate the invitation to headline this years event.....I consider this to be a great honor......I will be there. You have a great lineup of top talent. I am humbled. I would also consider it to be an honor to be a back-up player for any singer needing one. Hopefully, my lovely wife will be there with me.......she, IMHO, is a great annointed singer of some of the finest tunes ever written. Thanks again Jack, and I am looking forward to it.

thls just in....as the google spaceship was flying over the valley of the crystals down around dierks, Arkansas, it was evident that gene simmons was packin' his gear for an early departure Friday morning, this boils down to the fact that gene and hal will both be in the house Friday nite for the early bird tune-up jam. it's a good thing that this is also free admission, 'cause you can't buy talent like what the two of these guys have.

fantabulous, to describe the tune-up jam tonite in one simple word, it was, ....fantabulous. with most of the showcase players coming in early tomorrow, two of the guys that came the furthest, gene simmons from dierks, arkansas and hal Higgins from, Denham springs, Louisiana and the one that was the closest, eddie ray baker, from Greenville, Mississippi, along with the steelin' the gospel orchestra, led by bobby ray from Madison, Mississippi, seth hayes on drums from Eudora, Arkansas and phillip & Jeremy payne from McMillans Corner. not a better gospel music exposition was experienced for 500 miles, at least, in all directions. and this was just the jam. tomorrow the icing goes on the cake.
thanks guys for making the difference.

this years showcase is behind us now and by request the 4th annual steelin' the gospel showcase has been confirmed as the 2nd Saturday in june. although sickness captured 2 of our guys and forced last minute cancellations for terry sneed and Charlie moore the bar was raised out of site by the players on hand. much thanks goes out to all for really making this a top rank professional show, thanks to our special guests', hal Higgins, gene simmons, keenan Friday, Floyd Arbuckle, eddie baker and carl cox' I think everybody stepped up a notch or two on this.
the steelin' the gospel orchestra, some might refer to as a band, with bobby ray at piano, seth hays on drums, jeremy payne on bass and Floyd Arbuckle and phillip payne on guitars, was the icing on the cake.
arranged on demand was no step for these guy's. not just s band!
see ya'll next june for the 4th annual :steelin' the gospel steel guitar showcase", 2nd Saturday in june, 2016
