I would like to lesson the E's down return spring tension on my S10. The rods are in the bottom hole on the changer and the bottom slot on the finger (guitar standing on it's feet.

Might there be some other spring that can be used? Ideas?

Got the answer I needed in about 5 minutes, don't you just love this forum.

The answer: the guitar was roded in error, the rods should run to slot 4 on the pull finger not slot 5, I put them in slot 3, works like a champ.

Thanks to Lynn Stafford who had the Carter roding charts.
