Just finished listening to several great Hawaiian tunes on YOU TUBE by Raiatea Helm. One was "Haole Hula" and another was Ka Loke Polena". Several others listed there as well.
She has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard and truly brings out the authenticity of traditional Hawaiian music.
She has a really fine steel player in her group. I wonder who he might be........
Jeff Ahoy or anyone else care to guess? |

I don't know about the greatest steel player (I'm just now getting my education on all the greats)
but listening to Raiatea right now, she has the most beautiful voice.... Think I'll listen all morning. _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |

I think it may be Casey Olson or Greg Sardinha. ??
Derek Mau would know for sure.

I know Riatea usually uses Casey Olsen on her recordings and in person, but it may be Bobby Ingano. _________________ Jack Aldrich

What a refreshing young voice to keep the authentic Hawaiian music alive. And yes Ray, that steel player certainly has a nice touch. |
