Anyone use a curtain or framed tapestry on the front of their guitar?
Pics?

Just after I took delivery of my BIGSBY Quad back in 8/56, I hung a red curtain under the guitar to hide the pedal rods.

In those days, what this guy or that played was always held in the utmost secrecy, what pedals, what tunings, etc.

I too, am curious how many others among you, have used this concealment curtain.

I didn't know that!
I always thought it was for modesty to avoid the audience having to see the players wild leg movements, like an out of control Elvis sitting down...

I should get a plywood panel to protect the pedal rods from falling drunks. I play in SMALL bars.

We've moved on from concealing magic tricks to a full and frank display of feet and knees - but isn't a lot of valuable advertising space going to waste?

That ride-on mower thing is brilliant.

Right now it's too cold for water skiing and not enough snow for snowmobiling, so "I think I'll just stay here and drink." Merle said it best.

I wonder if that's a built in amplifier in the front of that Contraption? Anybody know?

Takes two hands to play, four hands to move it.

I think that's Eddie Martin on a mostly home-made contraption--the same Eddie Martin that played on Ray Price's first recording, circa 1950. Maybe with this very guitar?

Might be some National parts in there?

Early model p/p struggles.

Still trying to afix pedals. Perry isn't helping.

Finally. It took generations, or re-generations.
