Can u say what year my Emmons is Ser # 2748 D 0r 2148 d ?

I have a question on an Emmons Pedal Steel Guitar That I have had for many years . I thought I knew what year it was. Now I am not sure . I bought it in Bangor Maine about 6 or 7 years ago or so. Does anyone know the history or year of it ?? The ser # looks like 2748d Thanks for your help

I'm no expert but according to some notes I have, 2748 should be 1979...
