I have one of those, with a dual rail Lawrence p/u. Definitely cuts thru, even when tone knob is turned all the way down. An EQ pedal helps warm things up.
$175 is a steal (no pun intended), even with the damaged finish, IMO. |

I am anxious to try this one out once I hear back from Steve.
You touched on one of the things I asked Steve and that is the tone. Peter Jacobs mentioned the Bill Lawrence pup being an L250-XL.
I guess I will find out when I get it, but can't it be sweetened up or mellowed further with the amp eq too?
Also did some of these SL6's have a corduroy material or something like that on the bottom?
anyway no big deal there and I have some ideas for the deep gouge.
