I realized I hadn't posted about this CD here at SGF. It's a CD that came out a few months ago featuring a program of Hapa Haole tunes with vocals and resonator uke by Casey and slide guitar by yours truly. I'm using a replica of a Roy Smeck Stage DeLuxe made for me by the fine folks at Rayco guitars. I think it came out pretty nice. You can hear some samples and/or pick up a copy here...

This is very enjoyable - every tune sample is awesome both in the playing and the interpretation.
The Vocals, are very keen, and of course the Steel Guitars are right on the on money too.
Thank you for sharing your art. |

Thanks. I enjoyed doing the Says You radio shows with Arthur Migliazza and Matt Weiner on piano and bass. I haven't had an opportunity to hear it yet, so I'm going with your opinion! Maybe they'll have it archived on their website at some point. |
