There seems to be quite a bit of discussion on a continuing basis about which tuning should "I" choose.

With over 300 tunings (some folks have claimed).....

It's been suggested over and over by well intentioned players that either this tuning or that tuning should be the 'one of choice'.

MY theory, not that anyone will agree or even care, is to play a simple song like Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain..........in your favorite tuning.

Ascertain if all the notes you seek fall into a simple and easy pattern or whether or not you have to jump all over the neck to find the next string.

Too much jumping around, is NOT good. So try a different tuning playing the same song. How does it
fit your needs? Do this until you find a tuning that fulfills all of your dreams.

C6th/A7th fills that bill for me. What say you?
