Sorry we were late to the party to be counted among our Air Force people, Jack! Very Happy

Good duty station lineup, Barbara. The duty stations I can mention being assigned to were Lackland, Keesler, Altus, Wright-Patterson, Osan (with Yongmunsan, Mangilsan and Palgongsan), Pope, and England Air Bases. Doesn't include the many TDY assignments I had.

I was in the Army from November 1956 to November 1956 to November 1962 so that makes me a Vietnam Vet.They called beck on duty at the begining of Vietnam in 1962.
I took my 8 weeks basic at Ft. Benning Georgia and then went eight weeks Pole line school in Ft.Gordon GA.After two years they transfered me to the 309TH Heavey Truck Co. in Providence R.I and I did 4 years active reserves.Three months before I was to get out they shipped my hole out fit to Ft. Knox Kentucky where we stayed on stand by for Vietnam. After 10 months there they shipped us back to Rhode Island to the 309TH Truck CO.and I was discharged.
