Thanks Stephen, yes, I agree with you. I just finished reading the book entited "The Strat In The Attic" which is about researching and finding rare guitars. Your comments are greatly appreciated as I didn't want to imply otherwise.

Hey Jeff, do you need to see your bank manager before you change the strings on the guitar in your avitar picture!!!
I hate replacing strings especially on the Gibson CG and my National GC!!!!! Not for the cost, just it's a pain.

Cost me £50 in strings when I completed the restore (about $90CAN).
Actually, I really enjoy changing strings - I find it quite theraputic and relaxing. Except when the cat is around and keeps trying to grab the ends of the strings. |

...those pictures don't give a good idea of condition, really... missing the case, take off $250... missing the bridge covers, take off $120... I know it's Canadian dollars, but it's still pretty high for what you're getting. |
Hi Folks
I have purchased that guitar of Bob.
It is on its way down here to New Zealand (hopefully)
Would think not to many of them in this neck of woods _________________ Canopus d-8

Oh, that is so tempting! You don't see those come up for sale around here very often.
Could probably haggle down to $1500-1600. Prices for some used gear in Canada are usually inflated simply given the relative rarity of some things.
Not sure what I would do with a third neck, though...I can barely handle one! _________________ Rookie-ish steel player - currently tinkering around on a BMI S10 and a Guyatone S8. Bassist and vocalist for The Derringers. |

That ain't butterscotch and can you imagine what it would weigh if it were made of maple?!? |
