"When You Say Nothing at All" is a new age country song written by Paul Overstreet and Don Schiltz. Alison Krauss and Ronan Keating all made it their own with chart-busting versions. It was featured in the film "Notting Hill". Ronan Keating's version was his first solo single and a chart-topper in 1999. There have been several covers, many in non-country genres, also in many languages, reflecting the enormous popularity of the composition. This steel guitar instrumental version features the Steelocaster (A6 tuning) and an acoustic steel, a converted Charvel Jackson, open D tuning. The backing is from marvin mastertrax. Key of G.
