Hey everyone!

We're looking for a pedal steel player to join our original group. This is us:

http://www.tanbarkmusic.com/

We've been mostly playing as a duo until now, but we recently finished up an album with a full-band arrangement and got some pedal steel on there from a great Nashville player. That album hasn't been released, but I'd be happy to share some tracks for anyone that's interested.

Now that we are in NYC, we'd like to put together a band and keep going with that sound. We have a few gigs lined up in the coming months, and we'd love to find someone who'd be up for doing some practicing and gigging with us. (We rehearse in Gowanus).

Our influences range from Gillian Welch to Gram Parsons to Golden Smog. We're in love with the pedal steel sound and want it to be a key element in our music going forward.

You can reach me at:

Thanks!
James
