Does anyone know which Ronnie Milsap albums have Dicky Overbey playing steel on them? |

Get the live album. Dicky just kills it on that one. The older albums are probably out of print. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |

Thanks Richard, I just saw where Ronnie Milsap will be having a new box set coming out on November 4th called "The RCA Albums Collection". You can preorder it at walmart.com for $110.00 with free shipping. Amazon.com has the same deal. Looks like all of his older albums are in the 21 cd set with the live album included.
I hope he sells millions of them.

I think Dickey was playing steel in the "Houston Solution" video with Ronnie. |

I'll have to see if 20-20 Vision is available. I have the vinyl of both of these, but they are packed in boxes in my closet. It would be nice to have CD's without all the static, skip, scratches. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Ronnie Milsap was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame last Sunday. During the ceremony and before a packed audience they screened a 1975 live performance of "Daydreams about Night Things" and there was Dickie Overby on steel and sounding great. |

Jim, Bruce was a great player who I grew up with and played with in Nashville in the 70's. Bruce is a Missouri boy who got the job with Ronnie while working with Curtis Potter. Dickey got him the job without a tryout. He was with Ronnie 14 years then on to Paycheck and Gregory later. Bruce got a brain tumor and lost his memory. He doesn't remember much, and has to be cared for. He is still the good ol Bruce. |
